and here we go!

Here we go with the beginning of Productive Pinners! I really hope that this helps you do something with all of the amazing pins that you have been collecting!

Our first Mr. Linky share will be on Monday, December 19th, so that gives you plenty of time to decide which pin you want to challenge yourself to create and then do it. Make it. Bake it. Paint it. Photograph it. Let's do something with all of those amazing ideas we're been hoarding!

I thought that I'd give you a little peek of what pin I've decided to create this week. I bought supplies last night and will be spending all week putting it together. There are a few changes that I need to make to tweak this idea to work with my current menu planning system, but I'm super excited to do this!

I'll be the first to admit it. I am 100% addicted to Pinterest. I could quite easily spend an entire 24-hours sitting at my laptop going through everyone's pins and collecting new ones. So, after I mentioned my addiction to a dear friend and jokingly said that there should be a group for people like me that would challenge me and my friends to actually DO something with all of those pins and share it.....she said I should! So, here it is....Productive Pinners. I'm pretty sure that I can't be the only person out there who has been collecting obscene amounts of pins and hasn't really done anything with them yet.

The "rules" are simple:

Each Monday morning I will post a Mr. Linky and a picture of a pin project that I completed. Link up to your blog or Flickr or whatever and share anything that you did that was inspired by one of your pins. It can be anything, a recipe you tried, something you made, a home decor idea, organization idea, even a photo you took that was inspired by one you pinned. In your post, please add a link to the pin or site with the original idea, too. I firmly believe that all credit for an idea needs to be given to the person who had the original idea! Also, please link back to this site, so that others can join in on the fun. That's it! Easy peasy. ;-)

And if you have no way of sharing a picture of what you did, just leave a comment in that weeks post, because we'd love to congratulate you for doing something that week!

I plan on making a button for you to use and will post it here as soon as it's made.

So that's it! I hope you have fun here and we all get inspired to use some of those pins that we've been collecting!
